TBEX Convention Ireland 2017

Our experience at TBEX Europe 2017 in Ireland!

One of the main reasons we were headed to Ireland this year was for the TBEX conference for bloggers in Killarney. I’ve said many times, never stop learning!

We were also there to do a bit of networking. Both Hannah and I know it is a necessary thing even if it is a bit out of our comfort level… But hey life is short so have to keep pushing yourself!

Obviously, we weren’t able to document the whole conference. However, we did want to give you a feel of our experience at TBEX and what it’s like to participate at something like this. This conference was focused on bloggers and “the future of travel media”. It was filled with great talks, workshops, networking events etc. For example, the swag bag of goodies from the sponsors!

Like most conferences, it’s not just education for bloggers but also other companies looking to meet up and form beneficial partnerships with bloggers and media folks in their niche. For example, they may be looking for someone who would connect with their product, write guest posts, connect with their marketing, and hundreds of other things. In the digital world, finding ways to meet face to face from time to time can be key.

I’ve spoken at these things before, but it’s also quite cool to go as a student as well. We were also able to connect with a few members of our private Facebook group, and shake hands with the travelers and entrepreneurs we’ve been connecting with.

Plus, at the end of the day we were in Ireland and there was local music! Can’t beat that 🙂

Overall, TBEX conference was a fantastic event and a would do again.
