Airport Lounge That’s All You Can Eat?
All Day at the Airport = All You Can Eat Airport Lounge!
Sometimes constant world travels are not that glamorous.
Instead, your day consist of checking out of your Airbnb / hotel / hostel with all of your luggage and heading to the airport early. And if you’re at the airport too early, you have loads of time before you can even check your bags in and go through security to hang out in the main part of the airport. This leaves you with hours and hours on your hands with nothing to do…
Some airports have a nice concourse and places to sit, eat, or shop in the general area before you go through security for just this reason. Some do not… either way you get good at finding ways to entertain yourself.
For example:
- Trying on sunglasses or other items you would never buy
- Bouncing from one cafe to another (no small feat with all your luggage)
- Playing bumper cars with your companions wheelie bags (Hannah’s favorite)
- etc.
Another good way, is priority passes that get you into airport lounges!
An airport lounge can be great for all those extra hours as they typically have more comfortable places to sit, some decent food, snacks you can take with you on the plane, plus drinks and adult beverages. Many times, they even have showers. And typically it’s all free! Well… once you’re in the lounge. Typically entrance can be gained by buying a priority pass, earning member rewards, or having a first class ticket somewhere.
With all of these amenities, it also makes for a great place to sit and work in a little more comfort. Especially since they have far more electrical outlets than available in the main airport waiting area.
