We (Intrepid Introvert & I) have visited the city of Da Nang in Vietnam three times now. Our latest stay being one month long. We’re drawn to this place for a few reasons.
- It’s still relatively untouched by tourists.
- There is surf… Yes, there’s surf. Though rarely overhead, Da Nang often produces small fun waves in warm water with no one out.

Location, location, location …Oh, and I should mention the rooftop pool! This place has everything you could need and want in a hotel and more for $20/night. This hotel boasts a high rating even among solo travellers. The location is great too… Just 1.8 miles from the Love Lock Bridge, 2.2 miles from Cham Museum, and 2.5 miles from Song Han Bridge! And… this 3 start hotel not only has rooms with private bathrooms (something you sometimes have to double check for), but it also has air conditioning! In the Vietnam heat, that can be a lifesaver. We had a great time at this hotel, especially at the rooftop pool! As you can see, it has amazing views. We took advantage of the great location, room with a kitchen, and even the daily breakfast. The restaurant offers a solid variety of international dishes as well.
